Subject: Kids Games
In this version of hide-and-seek, one child hides and the other children seek.
Choose one child to be “it”. He/she chooses a spot to hide while the rest of the players shield their eyes and count to 50.
When the seekers have reached 50, they spread out and look for the single hider. When they find the hider, they hide with him/her, squeezing in like sardines, until there’s only one seeker left. When that person finds the group, everyone yells sardines! The last person becomes the hider for the next round.
Variation: Older kids can play in darkened rooms or at night, making it a little scarier to be walking around alone.
